Babis Giritziotis - Mount Olympus Summits
The North Face Greece Adventure Photographer
Mount Olympus Summits Project is an effort of photographer Babis Giritziotis to capture the view of one of the highest peaks of Olympus (over 2.000m altitude) with 360o photographs. The recording process takes place over several climbs with over 200 days of residing on the mountain, while it is expected to take over 12 months.
Through the website www.mountolympussummits.com the visitor can browse from peak to peak and admire the view from the highest mountain of Greece while at the same time visitors can monitor the project’s course.
Babis Giritziotis is a professional photographer since 2001. He has worked as a photo reporter for APE and as a freelance associate for travel magazines, traveling in countries of Africa, the Balkans, Asia and Europe. Since 2007, with GOexperience he has dealt exclusively with the coverage of activities about mountains, such as mountain running races, mountain bike, climbing, mountain ski, triathlon and base jump. He has covered races and events abroad, including two missions in Nepal, recording the effort of two Greek athletes in a multi-day mountain running race.
