After an extraordinarily successful first event, the only film festival devoted to adventure sports activities returns for the second consecutive year in Athens.
On Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, 2015, the Athens College (Psychiko College) hosts the 2nd Athens Adventure Film Festival. Athletes, filmmakers, photographers, equipment and outdoor activities companies join forces in -the unprecedented for Greek standards-, two - day thematic festival.

The Adventure Film Festival includes:
Films - A wide range of activities carried out through sheer willpower, transforming the elements of nature into an endless field of action. In total, 27 viewings will take place, most of which will be a premiere in our country.
Photographic / Artistic exhibitions – Accomplished Greek artists will be gracing the areas of the Festival, visualizing the most beautiful outdoor “moments” of Greece and the rest of the world.

Speeches / Presentations – Modern legends of both mountain and sea sports, people who repeatedly reached their physical and mental limits, will be making speeches so as to inspire the audience and broaden the horizons of activities in the Greek community.

Presentation Ceremony of the Skyrunning Championship – The presentation of the winners of the 5th Greek Skyrunning Championship by Salomon Hellas will take place on Saturday 31/10 on 13:40 as part of the 2nd Adventure Film Festival, amongst hundreds of friends of the mountain and adrenaline seekers!

Safe Water Sports is an innovating initiative whose main target is the systematic and documented education of the public on all matters concerning directly or indirectly water activities (both sport and entertainment), with special attention on matters of security and accident prevention. There will an information booth on site.
Interactive games from the company “Efpalinos” will be taking place for our young adventurous friends during the afternoon hours of the Festival.
